For Administrators
- Administration Resources - This is a password-protected area of the site, for use by authorised administrators only. The Administration Resources page allows access to the following features:
- Usage statistics: two sets of usage statistics are now available for Literature Online – one set based on ICOLC standards, which feature broken-out statistics for premium modules, and a separate set which are compliant with the COUNTER III Code of Practice.
- MARC records: download complete sets of MARC records for full-text titles within Literature Online. MARC records are available for primary works, journals and reference materials, and allow linking from library catalogues to individual titles via the MARC 856 field.
- OpenURL linking: enable outbound OpenURL linking from citations in Literature Online by entering the details of your link resolver. You can also find information on inbound OpenURL linking for full-text journal articles in Literature Online.
- Z39.50: information on enabling remote searching of Literature Online
- XML Gateway: information on enabling remote searching of Literature Online using the XML Gateway
- Hard-coded links: activate or de-activate links to other scholarly resources such as Early English Books Online, Oxford Reference Online and JSTOR.
- Title lists: download a list of full-text journals, including dates of coverage and OpenURL links.
- Customisation: amend your user profile to show or hide features of Literature Online, such as KnowledgeNotes Student Guides, Shakespeare Audio Plays and Poets on Screen, that may or may not be appropriate to your library.
- Library branding: add a branded link to your library home page to the Literature Online interface.
